Mountain bike day camps

Adventure at your pedals' tip

Get ready for a summer full of adventure and discovery on two wheels with our specialized day camps! Our programs are adapted to all levels and offer total immersion in the world of cycling. The perfect opportunity to learn the sport or develop your technique, meet new friends and create unforgettable memories.

Are you between 8 and 17 years old and passionate about mountain biking? Whether you want to learn the basics or are already an ace downhill rider, our day camps are the ideal way to practice your favorite sport.

Two formulas are offered: the bike camp concentrates its activities in the bike park on the versant Avila with a day at Sommet Morin Heights (Acro-Nature and biking trails), while the multi-activity camp offers four half-days of biking combined with a variety of activities such as surfing, the Water Park and Acro-Nature.

In addition to these programs, private lessons can be organized on request, subject to the availability of our instructors.

Rules and

code of conduct

Access to the site and bike trails is permitted only during bike park opening hours.
The mountain code of conduct must be respected at all times.
It is forbidden to ride outside marked and open trails, including ski trails.
It is forbidden to ride on downhill bike trails, including ski slopes.
Use access roads for emergency purposes only.
Reverse jumps and maneuvers are prohibited.
We advise you not to practice this activity alone, and always keep a cell phone nearby.
Booster seats and child trailers are not allowed on the slopes.
Helmets and closed shoes must be worn when riding on mountain bike trails, including when using the modules or learning trails. For added safety, full-face helmets and protective gear are strongly recommended.
Mountain bike for a single user weighing less than 45 lbs, in good condition, well adjusted, with tires between 2 and 3 inches, a crankset and braking system (front and rear) on the handlebars is mandatory to use the trails.
Les Sommets reserves the right to charge an assistance fee of $500 or more. This fee may apply to any request for assistance made outside regular operating hours and/or outside our marked trails.

Mountain biking involves the risk of serious injury or death. For your safety and
the safety of others, please follow this code of conduct.

Always ride in control and respect your limits.
You must be able to stop and avoid other people or obstacles. Ride trails and features
that match your skills level. It is your responsibility to be aware of the difficulty levels
and to choose your route accordingly.
Wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear for your ride.
Check the mechanical condition of your bike or have it inspected by a qualified
bike mechanic before you ride.
Do not ride if you are physically incapacitated or if your ability or judgement is impaired
by drugs, alcohol or fatigue.
Be careful, obstacles and trail conditions change constantly. Check their
condition before riding with speed and confidence.
Respect signs and warnings. Stay on marked trails and never venture into closed
sections. Do not make any changes to trails and do not build new trails without the
permission of the trail manager.
Give priority to cyclists ahead of you. On two-way trails, yield to cyclists coming
up the trail.
Clear the path. If you must stop, do so off the trail, in a safe, visible location.
Help the rescuers. If you are involved in or witness an accident, remain at the scene
and identify yourself to a first-aider or bystanders.
When the context applies

Use lifts with caution. Ask for assistance if you are unsure with the operation of the
chairlifts and follow the rules posted along the way.
